Product Features

Over the course of his illustrious Yankees career, Derek Jeter, the 1996 American League Rookie of the Year, has appeared in 10 All-Star games, won 4 Gold Glove awards, and won 5 World Series titles. In 2000, he was named MVP of both the All-Star Game and World Series. In 2003 he was named team captain. He has led his team to the Postseason in 14 of his 15 seasons prior to 2010, including 7 World Series. He is perhaps the most clutch performer to ever don the pinstripes, consistently coming up big in big spots. Showing no signs of slowing down, Jeter continues to produce at a staggering clip, breaking club records on a nightly basis. During Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS, with the Yankees trailing the series 2-0 and on the brink of elimination, Derek Jeter saved the season. Jeter emerged out of nowhere, to intercept a botched Shane Spencer overthrow, and quickly flipped the ball to Jorge Posada who tagged Jeremy Giambi out at the plate. The play, helped preserve a Yankees win, and catapulted the Bronx Bombers all the way to the World Series.
