Product Features

Derek Jeter will go down as one of the greatest players to ever put on a Yankees uniform. He became the all-time New York Yankees Hits leader recording his 2722nd hit as a member of the Bronx bombers on 09/11/2009, and in doing so passed Lou Gehrig who held the record for exactly 70 years. Additionally during the 2009 campaign, he passed Mickey Mantle for most career at-bats with the team-Mantle had held the coveted Yankees record since 1968. Jeter holds the all time hits record for the Original Yankee Stadium, at 1271. Jeter is renowned for his clutch hitting and ability to perform under pressure as evidenced by his .307 lifetime average in the postseason, to accompany his 85 R, 17 HR and 49 RBI. Mariano Rivera is arguably the greatest closing pitcher to ever play the game of baseball. On June 28, 2009, Mariano Rivera became only the second pitcher ever to break the 500 save mark, the only other pitcher to complete this feat is Trevor Hoffman. A first-ballot Hall Of Famer, Rivera has led the majors 3 times in saves, in 1999 (45), 2001 (50) and 2004 (53). Rivera has recorded at least 30+ saves in every season since 1997. Rivera is a four time World Series Champion, and was awarded the 1999 WS MVP award and the 2003 ALCS MVP award.
